Small scale scheme of coffee Irrigation

The project is being carried out at Itundu village in Ludewa District of Njombe Region. The acreage of coffee which is in operation is 29 acres , other crops which are planted at the same farms are bananas, different fruits and  several vegetables  also tree and fruit nursery has been established. This project was implemented  in 1998/1999 with support of UNDP Tanzania Branch who supported USD 20,000. Also Rev.Volker OSB of Mlangali Parish assisted the organization with support of  USD 600 for the above project.

HIV/AIDS Prevention and orphanage students support

Health education on HIV/AIDS prevention and orphanage student’s support were carried out at 11 villages of Mlangali, Lupanga and Madope wards of Ludewa District in Njombe Region. Also the organization supported  179 Orphanage students of   primary and secondary school  were assisted on their education costs such as school fees and school uniforms. This project was implemented in the year 2002/2003 with support of Care International in Tanzania who supported Tzs 18,764,000 for the project .

Rural piped water supply

Our organization of MLADEA in collaboration with communities of Itundu and Mlangali villages, together with the Ludewa District Council constructed piped water supply to Kidingili sub-village at Itundu village  and Ulayasi sub-village at Mlangali village in Ludewa District  of Njombe region. This project was implemented in the year 2004/2005 with support of  UNDP Tanzania Branch who supported USD 21,400. Also Ludewa District Council assisted our organization Tzs 750, 000 for the project.

Reproductive Health and Health Education on HIV/AIDS Prevention

Hearth Education on Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS prevention to government and religious leaders, youth (Peer Educators) and communities carried at five wards namely Mlangali, Lupanga, Madope, Milo and Ludende in Mlangali Division in Ludewa District ,Njombe Region. The project was implemented in the year 2007/2008 with support of  Foundation for Civil society who supported  Tzs 4,997,55.

 In the year 2009, our NGO of MLADEA was rewarded a certificate and shield by the Foundation for  Civil Society due to good performance in the above project. Also, MLADEA participated in the exhibition at the Parliamentary yard of the United Republic of Tanzania in Dodoma City.

Mlangali Min Hydropower Development Project (MMHDP )

Our organization of MLADEA is in the process of implementing the above-mentioned project at the Mlangali and Lupanga wards at Ludewa District in the Njombe Region. The project was initiated in the year 2000 for the purpose of improving life standards of the community as well as environmental conservation.

The project was supported by UNDP Tanzania Branch which provided USD 4720 and the  Rural Energy Agency (REA) supported by providing training, mobilization, and technical assistance where as GVEP International supported consultation, and also provided USD 195,000.

Gravity piped water supply

Our organization of MLADEA in collaboration with communities of Itundu and Mlangali villages, together  with the Ludewa District Council constructed gravity piped water supply at Itundu and Mlangali villages in Ludewa District, Njombe region for the purpose of improving   water supply. This project was implemented in the year 2009/2010 with support of  Japan Embassy of Tanzania who supported USD 88,941 for the project.

Malaria control project.

Malaria control project in Ludewa District was implemented in 22 wards. The project was implemented in the year 2009 in order to reduce morbidity and mortality   caused by malaria disease to pregnant women and children under five’s  in Ludewa District . PSI via TAGRODE supported the project with Tzs.17, 134,000 .

Protection and Conservation of water sheds through tree planting

In the year 2012/2013 MLADEA implemented the project  at Lufumbu ,Ligumbiro and Masimbwe villages in Mlangali ward ,Ludewa District Njombe Region Tanzania  .

The project was successfully completed and was among of four best projects in Tanzania .The project was supported by Tanzania Forest Fund who supported  with Tzs 5,764,000.

In the year 2022 our NGO in collaboration with the community implemented the project  at Mlangali and Lufumbu villages . The members of MLADEA   contributed Tzs 783,000  to implement the project.

Advocacy for the Right of Most Vulnerable Children

    In the year 2013/2014 MLADEA implemented  the project of advocacy for the right of Most Vulnerable Children (MVC). The  project  was implemented at 10 villages  at Mawengi ,Luana and Ludewa wards in Ludewa district in Njombe  region Tanzania. The project was supported by  Foundation for Civil  Society who supported the project with  Tzs  45,000,000 .

Environment Protection

In the year 2018 our NGO implemented the above project at  Shaurimoyo village  in Ludewa district Njombe region Tanzania through tree planting  .Thirteen (13 ) acres were planted with exotic trees .

The members of MLADEA and other stake holders contributed Tzs 6,000,000  to implement the project .

Bee keeping Project

 In the year 2019 our NGO implemented the above project at Itundu village in Ludewa district Njombe region Tanzania .100 beehives were purchased and hanged to the apiary .  The members of MLADEA and Patron  contributed Tzs 16,000,000  to implement the project

Youth Skills Development Project (YSDP )

Youth Skills Development Project is implemented in Ludewa district Njombe region Tanzania .

The project is supported by Work Aid (UK) who are supporting  our organization with several machines eg. tools , materials of carpentry, mechanics, knitting machines and  sewing machines .

In the year 2020 members of MLADEA  decided to improve Youth Skills Development Project therefore they contributed Tzs 822,000 , where as the Honorary members contributed Tzs 2,762.520 and Board of Trust trees contributed Tzs 679,350 for the project .

Luana Water Supply Project

Our organization of MLADEA in collaboration with communities of Luana village together  with Ludewa District Council constructed piped water supply at Luana village in Ludewa District Njombe Region.

The project aimed  to improve living  life of the Luana community and environmental conservation .

This project was implemented in the year 2014/2015 with the  support of Manos Unidas (SPAIN) who supported Euro 67,967 for the project.  Also the organization of Participatory Development Concern (PADECO ) assisted the project  TZS 1,500,000 

Community Participation on Natural Forest Protection

In the year 2017 our organization of MLADEA participated in  identification of six (6) natural forests namely Itumbi (Mawengi  /Mbwila villages) Mvava (Ludewa village ) , Intake (Masimavalafu village ) Kimelembe (Kimelembe village ) Litwang’ata (Nkomang’ombe village ) and Iwela ( Iwela village)  Ludewa district Njombe Region Tanzania .Also in the year 2019  our organization of MLADEA was involved in the conservation of two (2) natural forests namely Intake (Masimavalafu village ) and Litwang’ata (Nkomangombe village ).

All these projects were implemented by the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA ) in collaboration with Ludewa District Council  with  the support of Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund )CEPF ) of America

Delivering Effectiveness and Efficient Service delivery Through Solar renewable Energy Amids Covid-19 for Sustainable Community Health and Social Economic Welfare

In the year 2020 MLADEA in collaboration with AG Energies Agency ,National Council of Non Governmental Organization (NaCONGO ) together  with Ludewa District Council are  implementing this  project in Ludewa District Njombe Region Tanzania . Twenty three (23) Health facilities have  been  identified in Ludewa District as follows three (3 ) hospitals ,two(2) health centers and eighteen (18 )  dispensaries .

Our NGO contributed Tzs 150,000 for the project .

Partcipation on Public Education for WASH and The Fight Against COVID-19

In the year 2020 our NGO of MLADEA in  collaboration with Ludewa District  Council implemented a  project at Mundindi Special  School ,including three villages namely Mundindi ,Amani and Njelela ,Ludewa district ,Njombe Region Tanzania. Also our organization distributed teaching materials  517 posters and 400 brochures, 2 cartons of liquid soap and 2 cartons of sanitizer . The project  was supported by Tanzania Water and Sanitation Network (TAWASANET ) who supported Tzs 100,000 and MLADEA members contributed Tzs 50,000 for the project .

The Right of Women and Girls to own Properties and Land

In the year 2021/22   MLADEA in  collaboration with organization of Safina Women Association (SAFINA )  implemented a  project at 19 wards  and 62 villages in Ludewa district ,Njombe Region Tanzania.

 The project  was supported by Canada Fund for Local  Initiatives  (CFLI ) who supported Tzs 54,972,200  while MLADEA and SAFINA  contributed Tzs 1,699,000  for the project .

Avocado Farming Project

In the year 2022  our NGO implemented the above project at Mlangali  village in Ludewa district Njombe region Tanzania .Members of MLADEA planted 1 acre of avocado fruits  and   contributed Tzs 1,020,000  to implement the project .

Protection and Conservation of water sheds through tree planting

In the year 2021 our NGO in collaboration with the community of Mlangali village Ludewa district implemented the project mentioned above. The members of MLADEA   contributed Tzs 7,830,000  to implement the project.

In the year 2022 our NGO in collaboration with the community of Lufumbu  village Ludewa district implemented the project mentioned above. The members of MLADEA   contributed Tzs 11,330,000  to implement the project

In the year 2023 our NGO in collaboration with the community of Kiyombo,Mkiu and Masimbwe  villages in  Ludewa district implemented the project mentioned above. The members of MLADEA   contributed Tzs 21,780,000  to implement the project

Community Participation in the Protection of the Indigenious Forest and Water Sources

In the year 2024 our NGO in collaboration with the community of 10 identified villages in wards of Mlangali, Lubonde and Lugarawa  Ludewa district being implementing the project mentioned above with the  support of GEF/ UNDP Tanzania who supported USD 49505 for the project.
